AMAs 2021: BTS, Taylor Swift and Others for the Win!

The 49th Annual American Music Awards or AMAs 2021 was hosted on November 21, 2021. The event took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The AMAs 2021 recognized the most popular artists, singles and albums of the year. The ceremony was hosted by WAP singer Cardi B which marked a rather historic start to the event as prior to the I Like It singer, Queen Latifah was the only female rapper in history to do so.

The event was star-studded with winners we all expected and rooted for. Starting from BTS taking home three awards, with one of them being Artist of the Year, to the new pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo to our All Too Well icon Taylor Swift. It also saw the teaming up two sensational artists- BTS and Coldplay to perform their joint single ‘My Universe’ on stage. Overall the event was a win-win for both artists and fans, alike.
