Agent Elvis Trailer Breakdown
The official trailer of the series starts with a classic introduction of Elvis Presley, the king of rock and roll, and the man behind a cultural sensation. However, this time around, the world needs something more from him than just his music. The Las Vegas symbol is recruited by the government to help them with a bunch of world-saving missions (something that feels like the right fit for his alternative profession choice).
The initial glimpses from the trailer find Elvis interrogating the nature of his new job and the intricacies that come with it. Moreover, we also get to see him rocking the spy avatar in no time, and performing some death-defying heroic stunts. For instance, jumping from aeroplanes, and escaping explosions becomes another normal day of work for the music giant in his new profession.
Furthermore, as the trailer progresses, Elvis enters into the seasoned territory of spy missions (with an indirect tribute to Francis Ford Coppolla’s Apocalypse Now) and faces the consequences of espionage. However, the pop icon turn spy receives unusual backup support from his team, consisting of an eccentric yet useful monkey and some resourceful counterparts.

The clip then moves forward with the adventures of Elvis and the gang and features some stellar action sequences, matching the tune of chartbuster Viva Las Vegas. Moreover, the two-minute and twenty-seven-second clip also finds the time to add some quirky humour and elevate the slickness of the action thriller.
In the last few frames, the trailer ends with a slight nod to Presley and his impact, before he completely dismantles the enemies using hardcore weapons of rock and roll.
All in all, the animated series presents an intriguing alternative take on the rock and roll legend and delves into some unexplored terrains of fictional worlds. The setting looks promising, and crispy and resonates with the spirit of Elvis and his fandom. Morever, if you are a fan of some poignant Matthew McConaughey one-liners, then you are definitely in for a treat.
