Again My Life Episode 3 Recap: Lee Joon-gi Finds The Woman in Red

Again My Life (어게인 마이 라이프) is a 2022 Korean drama featuring Lee Joon-gi, Lee Kyoung-young, Kim Ji-eun and Jung Sang-hoon. It is based on the web novel of the same name written by Lee Hae-nal. This fantasy and mystery-infused Law Kdrama is directed by Han Chul-soo. Again My Life Episode 3 has a runtime of 71 minutes.

Episode 3 of Again My Life begins with Lee Joon-gi fighting with the hitman aggressively. Just like in his previous life, Kim Hee-woo is still weak in front of the hitman and loses to him. As if the past is repeating itself, the hitman throws Hee-woo down the bridge. As we see Hee-woo’s final moment in awe, this just turns out to be his nightmare and Hee-woo wakes up in a cold sweat.

Kim Kyu-ri has entered the Hankuk Law School as the top-scoring student in the country but she hasn’t been attending the school. In Hee-woo’s previous life, Kim Kyu-ri’s disappearance had been a mystery to him. He finds out that her family has gone bankrupt and her father is bedridden in the hospital, which makes her drop out of school to earn money. Hee-woo was able to get into the Hankuk School because of Kyu-ri and that’s why he finds a way to help her out.

Hee-woo starts attending the housing auctions to check if there is a way to save Kyu-ri’s house. He meets an old man, Woo Yong-soo, also known as Auction Master and becomes his pupil after pursuing him and going through his tests. Hee-woo learns the art of real estate investment from the old man and bids the right amount of money on Kim Kyu-ri’s house, which makes him win the auction. However, he has bought the house under his boss, Kang Min-seok’s name but Kyu-ri is smart enough to find out the truth.

Hee-woo has become popular in the school given his extraordinary smartness. Impressed by him, the student council president Kang Jin invites Hee-woo to the Secret Law Club which is a big network of alumni who hold big posts such as judges and prosecutors. The club recruits juniors and provides them with a ladder to reach a higher position. In exchange, they help others in their networks including politicians and businessmen.

In their first meeting itself, Hee-woo finds out that Cho Tae-seub is after Woo Yong-soo because of his owned properties. Cho Tae-seub has been a powerful man since the beginning and he has made an intricate plan to remove the obstacle of Woo Yong-soo. However, Hee-woo warns the old man and makes him sell all of his properties. Cho Tae-seub’s plan fails and the old man is saved from going bankrupt, unlike in his previous life when he committed suicide after losing all of his money.

Again My Life Episode 3 Ending – Who is Director Han?

Woo Yong-soo thanks Hee-woo for his efforts to save him from the trouble. The old man has no heir and hence, gives his entire fortune to Hee-woo because without him, he would have lost it anyway. He calls it the sign of the universe. Hee-woo has decided to improve on three things in this life- Physical Strength, Grades and Money and he has been making good progress on all the fronts. He has become good friends with Kyu-ri after he saves her house and helps her get back into the school. He has been tutoring Kim Han-mi and she reveals to him that she is the illegitimate child of the deputy chief prosecutor.

Hee-woo seems to be altering the lives of many people which might work in his favour in the future. Cho Tae-seub is an alumnus of his college and during his guest lecture, Hee-woo is shocked to see a woman working beside Tae-seub. It is the mysterious woman in red or the grim reaper who brought Hee-woo back to life. She could possibly be Director Han, who works for Cho Tae-seub but her face was never revealed. What work does she do for Cho Tae-seub and what could be the reason that she wants to avenge him?
