Abhishek Bachchan’s Bob Biswas, Produced by SRK to Get OTT Release?

Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani spin-off film Bob Biswas, starring Abhishek Bachchan, is one of the much-awaited Hindi films. Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment is producing the mystery thriller. The shooting of the film was wrapped in December 2020.

When cinema halls were opened in Maharashtra, many production houses announced the release date of their pending movies. However, there was no mention of Bob Biswas anywhere by RCE. Well, the latest update is that the film might release on the OTT platform.

Abhishek Bachchan’s Bob Biswas might release on Zee 5. A report by Pinkvilla mentions that the team has locked the deal and are looking for an ideal release date. A source informs, “Given the names associated with the project, the idea is to make it the big attraction for the platform to grab maximum eyeballs.”

Along with Bachchan, the Diya Ghosh directorial also stars Chitrangada Singh. Nothing much is out about the story and more characters as of now. Earlier about the film, the Ludo actor told Mid Day that it is reassuring that writers and directors found him worthy enough to play the character. He truly enjoyed playing the character and working with Diya and Sujoy.
