Bad Influencer Ending Explained: A single mom and an influencer team up to sell counterfeit designer bags online, but their path leads them to face consequences from both the cops and criminals.

The series opens with desperate single mother BK trying to make ends meet thanks to a huge debt to loan sharks, and trying to get her son into an expensive school for special kids after he is constantly bullied in his current school. She tries to make profits by selling fake bags using her incredible talent as a seamstress, but things just get from bad to worse when her first opportunity doesn’t pan out, and eventually, she is left with no clients and no bags either.

Starting over from scratch, she meets influencer Pinky and, after trying to convince her for some time, Pinky agrees to sell counterfeit bags through her profile. BK is able to sell one bag, after which the scam falls apart when the loan shark she owes money to gets involved. He takes all of their money, and BK and Pinky start over once again. However, the bad luck continues to follow them around, and as they go out to buy raw materials for bags at a shady mall, the police raid the place, landing both of them in jail.

Thankfully, they are able to get out quickly with Themba’s help, with whom BK has started a relationship, not knowing that he’s the one waging the war against the counterfeit market. Pinky desperately tries to get out of their scheme, but there are not many options that she has because she has no money and nowhere to live. The two continue to find a way out of their mess, and BK eventually joins hands with Bra Alex, a dangerous gangster, to start their operation once again.

Of course, joining hands with a gangster has its downsides, and soon, he starts to threaten them while Pinky goes viral thanks to Naomi exposing her fake things in front of everyone at an influencer event. Now unable to sell the bags using her own profile, the women come up with a way to reach audiences once again when they goes after Naomi using a fake profile and gains hundreds of eyes overnight. Moghel Slay starts to sell hundreds of bags monthly, and Naomi, still reeling from being disrespected, goes to the police and tells Themba about the fake bags.

Are BK and Pinky caught?

BK and Pinky are eventually caught by the police for working with Bra Alex and Jiyane. However, they refuse to give any information and are eventually let go. Outside, though, things are dire as Jiyane wants a share of their profits and asks them to sell more bags for him. Desperate to live, they do as they are told and organise a huge auction sale to sell the bags. The only problem – they had to save time and thus, none of the zips work.

In a surprising twist to them, Naomi arrives and instantly declares that the bags are fake. A fight ensues immediately, and Bra Alex gets involved and makes Naomi tell her followers that there was a misunderstanding. However, the damage is done, and the bids go down. Eventually, BK reveals her face to get people to believe in the scam, and the event turns out to be a success.

Is Leo safe?

After getting into an accident, Leo finds himself in the hospital, and the police and Alex’s men surround him like sharks. In the end, he is kidnapped by the gangsters when they learn that BK has been working with Themba. Thankfully, Themba saves Leo just in time, and he ultimately returns safely.

What happens in the end?

Sensing danger, BK comes up with a plan as Alex takes her to Jiyane at gunpoint and tells the latter that they have been working with the cops. Alex is immediately killed, and just as she’s about to be shot, the police arrive and save her. However, she still goes to jail for 2 years for her involvement, but Pinky and the others are spared the jail sentence thanks to Themba threatening his superior with his own fraud charges.

Does BK get out of the criminal world?

In the last scene, we are shown that BK is unable to get out of Jiyane’s grip, as he has sources inside the jail as well, and she will have to continue to make him money. As a reminder of his power, he sends her a picture of Leo in the jail cell, leaving her crying in desperation.
