Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams Plot
This supernatural sci-fi show chronicles seven individual interconnected stories that showcase the evils that humanity is about to face but with a supernatural twist. Each episode, spanning from 1985 to 2024, will focus on a key character and the extraordinary problems that they face as the series tracks the origins of life on Earth while also shedding light on the perils that humanity is about to face.
The teaser shows Anwar mentioning the first episode, which will focus on a taxi driver after which we dive into clips from different episodes, and by the looks of it, there’s going to be some supernatural and some sci-fi elements, probably aliens as well. The characters are going to face some danger which is beyond our understanding of reality that will answer deeper questions surrounding our lives and existence.
