Elsewhere, after having stabbed Choi Hye-jeong in the throat, Lee Sa-ra is taken to jail while the former is left with her vocal cords destroyed and abandoned by Jeon Jae-joon. This leaves her distressed and angered, so when Dong-eun comes with a proposal to get her revenge on Jae-joon, she does not shy away and changes his eye drops.
Later when Jae-joon is called out, he uses the replaced eye drops and becomes blinded after which he meets with an accident. While he survives the crash, he is chased by Ha Do-young and finally killed by the latter before he leaves for another country with his daughter.
Dong-eun finally achieves her revenge and is ready to say goodbye to everyone who helped her on this road, and this also includes Joo Yeo-jung who did not expect this from her. Dong-eun disappears from his life as well and goes to the abandoned building where Yoon So-hee died.
She is ready to end her life when Yeo-jung’s mother stops her and asks for her help in freeing her son from the hell he has been living in. She asks Dong-eun to liberate Yeo-jung from the revenge he has been living for as he continues to revive letters from his father’s murderer who feels no remorse but finds pleasure in torturing Yeo-jung mentally.

A skip to six months later shows Dong-eun at a monastery where she gets close to a powerful woman who shows her the way to bring Kang Yeong-cheon, the person who killed Yeo-jung’s father, to another prison. She then returns to Yeo-jung who continues to wait for her and is surprised by her return.
She then tells him that this time she will be her henchman to get revenge and the two begin their plot, but not without calling Kang Hyun-nam back to help them out. Thus, the two continue with their daily lives and Dong-eun gets another certificate while they direct everything to get back to Kang Yeong-cheon.
Finally, they bring their prey to exactly where needed and continue to work together for their days to come.
