Big George Foreman Trailer gives us a glimpse into the miraculous story of the once and future heavyweight Champion of the World. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker George Tillman Jr. from a story by Dan Gordon and Frank Baldwin & George Tillman Jr, and the screenplay is written by Baldwin & Tillman.
Big George Foreman is based on the remarkable true story of one of the greatest comebacks of all time, showing the transformational power of second chances. Fueled by an impoverished childhood, Foreman channelled his anger into becoming an Olympic Gold medalist and World Heavyweight Champion, followed by a near-death experience that took him from the boxing ring to the pulpit.
But when he sees his community struggling spiritually and financially, Foreman returns to the ring and makes history by reclaiming his title, becoming the oldest and most improbable World Heavyweight Boxing Champion ever. The cast of the film includes Khris Davis as George Foreman, Jasmine Mathews, Sullivan Jones, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., John Magaro with Sonja Sohn and Forest Whitaker as Foreman’s trainer and mentor Doc Broadus.

The trailer starts off with Foreman getting recognised by his coach about never having seen someone punch like him and they start to train and learn combat. We get to see how he comes from poverty where even his schoolmates would make fun of his misfortune. But he soon shows his strength by winning a gold medal in the heavyweight division at the 1968 Summer Olympics.
His life changed and he could provide better for his family but something changed after his first professional loss to Muhammad Ali in the iconic Rumble in the Jungle in 1974. Seemingly, it felt like coming back from the dead, soon after he opted for the spiritual route and became an ordained Christian minister.
However, when things weren’t going all too well for him financially, he decided to don his boxing gloves again at the age of 45. Completely out of shape and practice, Foreman goes back to his old coach again, to get in the game and prove himself for all its worth. This is set to be an emotional yet inspiring story of determination and strength to do anything you set your mind to.
