Rachel Green, “Ray-Ray Green”, the diva was undoubtedly Friends’ most fashionable character. Her outfits were not the already trending ones but started trending after she wore them on the show. 7 times Friends’ Rachel Green Was the Trendsetter in Fashion
Mint Green Dress
Leave it to Rachel Green to win our hearts. Straight out of her comfortable sweatshirt, Rachel slipped into a mint green dress with a side slit for Ross’ lecture. She wore a thin bracelet and carried a mint green bag. Even though Ms Green was the last to get dressed, Ross had no complaints and neither did we.

Full sleeves Knit Top with Checkered Skirt
If there’s one Rachel Green outfit that has been recreated the most, it’s this one. Being a waitress, Rachel often wore mini-skirts but this checkered mini-skirt was the one that stood out. Tying a ponytail with voluminous hair, Rachel wore knee-high socks with boots. She looked like every high-school guy’s crush.

Floor length Red Bodycon
It’s no question that Monica was the queen of red in Friends. But on this particular occasion, Rachel stole Monica’s thunder. Sleek back hair with red bodycon and dainty earpieces, Rachel must have rocked her first red carpet appearance with Joey. And, no one can ever miss out on her iconic golden choker, right?
Relaxed Fit Sweatshirt with Checkered Shorts
Honestly, before Rachel wore them, the checkered print was always a big no-no for me. But thanks to our model, checkered patterns are everywhere now. She wore them with such ease and style that checkered prints are the “it” fashion today.
For this outfit, Rachel paired checkered shorts with the relaxed-fit sweatshirt. Her outfit screams comfort and is one of the most worn looks to date. I think we all owe Rachel for this trend.
Her Luxury Fur Coat and Pencil Skirt
How we can discuss Rachel Green without mentioning Luxury? For this particular look, our bougie uptown girl wore a luxurious purple coloured fur coat with an off-white pencil skirt. She wore a black turtleneck top inside her coat and is the Queen of contrast.
With her voluminous side-parted hair, golden hoops and shopping bags in her hands, Rachel serves the perfect aristocratic look.
Black Midi Dress with Tulle
Who would’ve imagined styling a tulle over a t-shirt dress? Our fashionista, of course!
Rachel tied her hair in a bun with side-parted fringes. She accessorised her outfit with golden earrings and black-heeled shoes. But it’s her tulle that stole the show in this outfit. Perfectly styled charcoal black tulle over a black dress, Rachel is the fashionista friend we all need in our lives.

Floral Shirt with Cargo Pants
Perfect for a day in the woods, Rachel wore cargo pants for her getaway with Paul. Only Rachel would have thought of pairing cargo pants with floral prints and only Rachel could carry the look. She wore a white crop t-shirt beneath her open-button floral shirt and swayed her boyfriend.
Her straightened-long tresses, delicate bracelet and cheeky smile added to the look.
Friends last aired in 2004 but even after almost 2 decades, the show is one of our favourite sitcoms. Its characters are still relatable and so is their dressing sense. But the actor who served the most looks was Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green.
Rachel has always been showcased as a fashionista in the show and I think we all agree with that. All hail The Queen, Ray-Ray Green for being the trendsetter in fashion.
