The Red Sleeve is getting a lot of love from people all over the world, and for good reason. Based on the novel by the same name, this historical drama is equal parts romantic as it is rife with politics and backstabbing. King Jeongjo’s choice between love and duty are things that people have witnessed for time immemorial, but this romance between the protagonists is sweet, relatable and extremely watchable. Oh, not to mention, extremely wholesome as well!

Ah, the competitive world of entertainment. The series, featuring the romance between the members of two rival idol groups, the series is fresh, entertaining, competitive and hella cute. Jealousy, competition and the right dose of romance – that’s what this romantic Kdrama brings to the table!

Youth of May

(Korean: 오월의 청춘)

Youth of May really plays around with its history, brutality and romance. Dealing with the not-so-good parts of humanity, the romance is peppered in as a saving grace, giving the series a delicious quality that is highly bingeable. The emotional moments are raw and the bad moments are what will push you towards the protagonists and make you fall in love with them. All of this, and more, makes this one of the top Korean dramas of 2021.

A story about a nine-tailed fox and a college student who swallows his beads (yes, you read that right), My Roommate is a Gumiho is a feel-good rom-com that will touch your heart in ways that you wouldn’t have thought possible. This romantic Kdrama, based on a webtoon of the same name, is addictive and cute and a very wholesome watch – definitely one of the top Korean dramas of 2021.

Doom At Your Service

This romantic Korean drama has one word for it – odd! Focusing on the relationship between a messenger between God and humans and a woman having the worst day of her life, Doom At Your Service will catch you off-guard with how odd the story is. Odd, yes, but oh-so-interesting to watch. Plus, it doesn’t help that Myul Mang is just so mysterious and enchanting.
